Radical Love - Heart of the Goddess

The Goddess, the Divine feminine is re-emerging in our world. She is compassion, love, strength, wisdom and much, much more.

Many women do not really know or understand what the essence of true feminine energy is or why it is particularly important for women to embody it.

This is not surprising given that for a long time now we have been living in a world where male energies have become our way of operating and as women we have become more and more male.

For example most women, just like most men, use thinking and their intellect to make decisions and work things out. However it is intuition that is really the primary force for guiding women.

Of course men are intuitive too, but it is the more natural home of women. Women are usually more connected to their feeling-body than men so it is easier for us to feel our intuition. Women can encourage and assist men to recognise and feel their intuitive voice, but firstly it is very important for women to drop down and feel what is being communicated in and through their bodies.

To build a stronger and more trusting relationship with your intuition means making time and space to feel it and making a commitment to trust it as your guide above and beyond your logical thinking.

• How much time and space do you create so that you can feel your intuition?
   
• How deeply do you trust it to guide you?
   
• Do you value what your mind says, over your feelings?

The essence of the feminine has been all but lost in our culture for a long time. We have chosen to value individualism over togetherness, knowledge over wisdom, competition over co-operation.

We have moved away from our hearts and feeling-body and instead occupied our minds, where logic and proof have become dominant.

It is not that individualism, or competition or logic are bad - no, they are all useful. It is more truthful to say that we have become overly reliant on this way of living and in doing so we have relegated and forgotten the other side of ourselves, the energies and qualities of
- connectedness
- receiving
- being, in contrast to doing
- allowing and flowing, in contrast to control and structure.

About this workshop

The Heart of the Goddess is a workshop for women to understand what feminine energy is, and why it is important for women to come back to embodying these qualities. Many of us may have conscious or unconscious fears about returning to the Goddess so this is also a healing process to acknowledge and release ourselves from individual and collective wounding.

This wounding may show up in several ways:

• It may be fear of trusting your intuition, or of opening your heart.
   
• It may be challenging for you to stand in your true and authentic power as woman, as a guardian of compassion, wisdom and strength.
   
• You may have fear of re-embodying and holding the flame of the Triple Goddess - virgin, mother and crone.
   
• You may have anger with men or your own female family line.

Together we will explore The Goddess so that we may understand what she is asking of us, and with this deeper connection we can then choose to do her work. A part of this workshop is an initiation - an initiation into the heart of the Goddess, the heart of women as the embodiment of love.

The Heart of the Goddess workshop involves group, individual and partner processes. It is for all women who feel they want to know more about the importance and strength of the Divine Feminine. This is not just understanding through words but through energy exchange, so this is about being and embodying the Goddess beyond our time together.
